It takes a lot of people to run a swim team. A little volunteering time can go a long way! Here are some non-meet positions you can do anytime:

1. Ribbon name sticker and deliverer. Basically, you will stick a label on the correct ribbon. We'll have a sheet of names and their places (with the event they won and times, etc) and we just need to have someone stick these and deliver it to the other team. You don't always need to deliver it. Sometimes, someone will be able to bring it there if they're on the way or going nearby.
2. Bulletin Board Creator. You'll be in charge of updating the bulletin board. Typically this includes the names of the swimmers, and posted times. We can provide the information.
3. Coaches Gift Coordinator. Around the 3rd meet, you'll collect money from the team families and give out a combination of cash and gifts to give out to the coaches and junior coaches. With Venmo and other digital ways to send money, this is sooo much easier!
4. Pins, Medals and Awards Orderer. Near the end, we will need to order season pins and tropies. I think we have enough medals to give to the new swimmers. Everyone gets a pin. New swimmers get a medal where they pin their season pins. And then coaches give out special awards.
5. Event Organizer. You don't have to organize every event. But this is easy. It's just a matter of figuring out what to feed the kids and where to order the food. Here's the list of events we typically do.
