Julia is a rising senior at Apex High School and has been swimming for over 10-years. She started her swim career here at Kildaire Farms as a 6 & under swimmer. In middle school, Julia joined RSA (Raleigh Swimming Association) as a year round swimmer and is currently a member of the Blackfin team. At Apex High School, Julia became a member of the varsity swim team her freshman year. Her favorite strokes are backstroke and butterfly. Julia is also an avid skier and will freaquently take on the double black diamond runs our west. In her off time she likes to hang out with friends and watching Stranger Things. 

Hi I’m Kate Ragsdale! I am 18 years old and a graduating senior at Raleigh Charter High School, in the fall I will be a freshman at NC State. I have been swimming for the Marlins of Raleigh since I was 7, and I helped coach AG1 and swim leagues throughout this past year. When I’m not swimming, I like to paint, listen to music, and crochet. My favorite events are the 50 and 100 free. I am so excited to join the Kildaire Farms team this summer!

Wes has been a Kildaire Farm Killer Whale ever since he was 5 years old. After aging out and going to college, he has been lucky enough to be able to come back to be a coach this summer. He finished his college years at the University of Hawaii at Manoa studying Language and Literature of Europe and the Americas. He hopes to use his degree to travel through different countries in South America and learn more about their cultures. Wes loves to work with kids and enjoys trying to teach them more than just the activity at hand, trying to teach them valuable life lessons. He is very excited to work with the swim team this summer, he hopes to see a lot of improvement and most of all, kids having fun!
