Good afternoon!

On Saturday, July 11th, 2026, Scottish Hills Recreation Club will host the 43rd annual Cary City Invitational Swim Meet. All TSA Southern Division teams have been invited to participate.

Though The Cary City Meet is not until July 11, we need to start moving on some things! 

There are a handful of important things to note:

1. Please DECLARE your swimmer now on our website. Swimmers ages 6 & Under may register for no more than two individual events (freestyle and backstroke);  please note that all 6 & Unders swim 25 yards. Swimmers ages 7 & Up may register for no more than three individual events (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly). SELECT the strokes for your child when you declare. 

Registration fees are due at the end of this month. KF pays this fee though we cannot pay late registration fees. The club also rents a large tent for the kids/coaches/volunteers and we need to know what size to order.

2. Please contribute to our team wishlist to help create a festive atmosphere in our team tent. Our theme this year is "Go Bananas"! You'll see our coaches sporting some colorful banana shirts very soon!

3. We will need meet parent volunteers (timers, kid pushers, etc.); when we find out the positions, we will post on the website so folks can sign up. 

4. Parents and swimmers should bring their own chairs and/or blankets for seating in our tent area. No spectator chairs will be allowed on the pool deck. However, bleachers offering limited seating will be available on the pool deck.

5. Swimmers, families, spectators, and coaches will have a variety of food options at the meet. Most vendors (and the Scottish Hills snack bar) will accept cash, credit cards and Venmo. Food will be available from Buoy Bowls, Salvio's Pizza, Sunset Slush, and Double Trouble Coffee Company. The snack bar will offer a variety of breakfast foods, Chick-fil-A, subs, candy, snacks, and drinks.

6. Cary City Meet t-shirts ($20). Credit cards or Venmo will be accepted for these purchases.
