Tonight is the night! 🐳💦

The weather is PERFECT, the pool is sparkling, and our coaches are beyond excited to welcome everyone back for another amazing summer with the Killer Whales!

Whether this is your swimmer’s first season or their 10th, tonight officially kicks off a summer full of:
🏊 Great swims
😄 Great friends
📣 Lots of cheering
🍕 Fun team traditions
🐋 And tons of Killer Whale spirit!

Before we all head out tonight… let’s take a deep breath and just chill-ax for a minute. 😊

The first two weeks of summer swim are always a little chaotic while we get everyone sorted out (sadly, we do not have a Hogwarts sorting hat available 🪄🐋).

A few important “to-do’s” for tonight:
✅ Bring an extra towel — the pool is a little chilly
✅ Bring a positive attitude — your children can absolutely sense your anxiety or whether you are about to cave in
✅ Bring goggles (if your child will wear them)
✅ Bring a swim cap (if your child will wear it)

And if you forget the goggles or swim cap… PLEASE do not freak out. Coach Ben knows exactly where those live in Ms. Tammie’s magical pool bag. 🎒😄

Most importantly, remember:
Swimming is FUN!

You are giving your child an incredible gift:
💙 Safety and confidence in the water
💙 Healthy activity and exercise
💙 Teamwork and friendships
💙 Life-long memories

And please do not worry — our coaches have GOT THIS.

Every single one of our coaches is 100% homegrown Kildaire Farms. They have been swimming here since they were little kids (some practically since birth!), and they know exactly how to help swimmers feel comfortable, confident, and excited.

Also… someone will probably cry tonight — and that is completely okay. Usually it’s me 😂 but sometimes our littlest swimmers get a little weepy too. It passes. We promise.

Jeremy, Lyra, Rachel, and Tammie will all be on deck this week to help answer questions, provide moral support, direct traffic, calm nerves, and generally help everyone survive the first week of swim team. Please do not hesitate to come find us!

We cannot wait to see everyone tonight and officially launch the 2026 Killer Whales season.
