Good Evening Everyone and I apologize for the delay in getting this info to you and I know it's not my normal perky  but please please please take a few minutes and read the info.   You will need to know it.

1. Friday night at 6pm is tent decorating at Cary Swim Club.  WEATHER PERMITTING   The theme is "Fabulous 50 -  Black and Gold "   Thank YOU to super volunteer Lyra for rounding up the decorations. If you have any decorations with the black and gold 50 theme please bring them.  Our tent is 15x15 and it will hold a lot of decorations.   It would be great if we could get some help.   We will also need help

3.  TIMERS - WE MUST HAVE 4 Timers to time.  You can do 2 hour shifts or the entire morning.  It's up to you  but we need to be at the timers meeting.  Matt/ Laura /Judy /  Kala & Flora - can you all help - or designate a significant other -  I have the stop watch and they use dolphin so it's easy.  It's also the best seat in the house as we are timing lane 4.  

3.  We warm up in Lane  6 at 7:30 am.   LISTEN UP  - this is Cary City meet so all of the swimmers have to go thru the foot washing station and they have to be with the coaches and a parent has to keep an eye on them.    You can't show up at 7:30 and think you can just jump in there and warm up .... nay nay.

4.  Coaches and Parents  Please print your own copies of the heat sheets (attached).  We will NOT have extra sets for distribution.  WE NEED ALL PARENTS WHO ARE NOT TIMING TO BE IN THE TENT AND HELPING MOVE THE SWIIMERS TO THE CLERKS TENTS - TO THE FOOT WASH AND TO THE HAND OFF AREA.   YOU HAVE GOT TO WATCH THE HEAT SHEETS OR WE WILL MISS SWIMS.   

_5.Despite what Google maps may tell you, there is NO ACCESS to the club or parking lots from SE Maynard Road onto Tanglewood. The road will be barricaded near the club to control the flow of traffic. ALL access to the club is from Walnut street onto Tanglewood. Immediately upon turning onto Tanglewood from Walnut, you'll be able to pull over on the right at Tent City to unload swimmers, chairs, coolers, etc.. Drivers will then proceed to the parking lots on the left for Christ the King Lutheran church, or - if it's full - through to the parking lot for Cary High School.   DO NOT PARKING IN THE SHOPPING CENTERS -  OLLIES - DQ ETC - THEY WILL TOW YOUR CAR

Families, PLEASE bring sunscreen, bug spray, and shoes AND YOUR OWN CHAIRS - THERE ARE no CHAIRS FOR US TO USE- ONLY WHAT WE BRING.   GOOD BEST PRACTICE IS TO BRING AN EXTRA TOWEL OR TWO. - especially for the little ones. Between events you will want to explore all the teams' tents in Tent City, check out the action on the pool deck, and visit the tennis court for score updates, the misting tent, our sponsor vendors, and concessions. The tennis court can get VERY hot, and we don't want little kids to hurt their feet!

• 7.  They  will have concessions, food trucks, T-shirt sales (including goggles, etc.), and raffle sales for exciting gift packages. Please bring cash AND credit cards.
• 8.  Snacks in our Tent -  Thank you to super volunteer Jenny Rhodus -  we will have snacks for our parents and swimmers .   Parents please feel free to bring shareables if you are inclined- just nothing messy please as we have no running water near the tents-  there is a lot of snacking going on - smile
• The Spirit Award will be judged by the mascot for the N.C. Courage professional women's soccer team around 10AM. Be ready to impress Roary with your Spirit!
