Killer Whales Families.

 A few KEY reminders for tonights meet  - please read.    

Thank you all for your dedication and for being team players and team parents and braving the heat for the  swim meet for the TEAM.   I know it takes a lot to leave the AC today and I commend you !   I know seeing the excitement of winning their relay  or getting a personal best time or just making it across the 25  are all big accomplishments and we should celebrate them. 

Now for the not fun things that you need to know. 

1. Heat -  Please bring a couple of towels for around your neck and alternate them..  You will be amazed at how much cooler  you are when you take your cold towel out of your cooler and wrap it around your neck.    

2. Remind your children that they are NOT to hit each other with the towels.  In fact - they will be in the water so they won't need one. 

3. Please hydrate with water or gatorade.  Nikki is stocked on gatorade.  Soda is NOT hydrating.

4.  EARS -  REMIND the swimmers to clear their ears after each swim.  It's that time of year and going to the urgent care because they didn't clear their ears is not fun.

5. Parking -  DO NOT park in the pool lot -  please be courteous and reserve that for our guests.  Plenty of parking in the clubhouse lot ( see email below)   Other pools reserve closer parking for us and we should reciprocate.

6.  Jeremy has used his super powers to condense heats and relays.  IT will be a little wonky but we are trying to get done as quickly as possible  so we need everyone to stay with your kid pusher and be ready to swim.   We are NOT holding the start for swimmers sitting on the other side of the pool / playing in the restroom / living in the snack line  etc etc.    Please use your super parent powers to help follow the rules and move the meet along.

7. Carpenter Village has about the same # of swimmers as we do so it will likely come down to a relay for the points close finish!   Go Relay Teams!!

IF we all work together and nothing goes wrong we can probably finish 8:30ish.....
