It's time for our first AWAY meet of the 2025 Season.  We have a big week ahead and we need your help to keep things running smoothly and FUN!

✅ Declare Your Swimmer for Tuesday’s Meet vs. Bella Casa! 27 parents are still on the naughty list.

Please log in to www.kfswimteam.com   ASAP to declare whether your swimmer(s) will be attending our meet this Tuesday, June 18th against the Bella Casa Barracudas.  

🙋 Volunteer Sign-Ups Needed

We are still looking for a few more volunteers to help make this meet a success:

• 4 Kid Pushers
• 3 Timers
• 1 Stroke & Turn Judge

We can't run the meet without these roles filled, so please sign up if you're able!

🏊 Bella Casa Meet Details & Reminders

🖊️ No Sharpie on the Back Policy
Bella Casa has a new policy this summer — no writing on swimmers’ backs or shoulders. Their new deck furniture is sensitive to ink transfer. Thank you for respecting their facility!

📍 Location:
Bella Casa Pool – 2700 Evans Road, Apex, NC    *** Bella Casa is about 10 miles and takes 18-30 minute to get there from our pool.   Please plan accordingly - warm ups are at 5:30pm - that means in their pool - warming up at 5:30.

🚗 Parking:

• No parking on Evans Road
• Milano Ave: Parking allowed on both sides
• Lazio Lane: Parking only on the side with the sidewalk
• Overflow parking may be available in the field next to the pool for $5 (cash/venmo) if it hasn’t rained in the last 24 hours.
• Town of Apex is strict about parking, so please adhere to regulations to avoid tickets. 

🏖️ Facility Info:

• Bring folding chairs and tents – most families will be outside the pool fence by the playground
• 6 lane 25 Yard pool. We have permanent installed lights
• Clerk of Course loads near Lane 6 by the fence.

🍔 Concessions:

• Pizza, burgers, hot dogs, and snacks available for purchase (cash & Venmo accepted).
• Sunset Slushies will also be available in the parking lot!

🕐 Schedule:

• Kildaire Farms warm-up: 5:30–6:00 PM
• Pre-meet briefing for officials: 5:45 PM (in the parking lot)
• Meet begins at 6:00 PM

🎉 Bonus Fun – Parents & Coaches Relay!
Weather permitting  -Let us know if any of our amazing parents or coaches are up for a fun 200 Free Relay showdown after breaststroke. It’s always a meet highlight!

Swim-ups for Relays -  We often have an opportunity for younger swimmers to "swim-up"  for relays.   Many Many times this makes the difference in us winning the meet or losing the meet.  And... the kids love it.    So PLEASE PLEASE stay at the meet until we have the Freestyle Relay under control if you can
