Hey Killer Whale Families!

Tuesday is our Time Trials. You'll be getting more information later about details. But for now, we need volunteers! Team policy dictates that each family volunteers for 2 events, or about 4-5 hours during the swim season, for each swimmer in the family. Don't worry. We have non-meet volunteer positions for those who struggle to work a Meet and make it to the 5:30 pm volunteer meetings.

For this Tuesday's Time Trials at Kildaire Farms Pool, we need:

1. Kid Pushers: 6U Girls, 7-8 Girls, 9-10 Boys. Remember: ONLY VOLUNTEERS ARE ALLOWED ON DECK. This is a good job for people with young swimmers.

2. Assistant Clerk of Course. The Assistant will work with an experienced Clerk of Course. The Clerks of Course bring the kids from the ready benches to their assigned lane and make sure each kid swims their event.

3. Timers. If you have thumbs, you can do this! It's the best seat in the house without formal training. (Those seats are reserved for the Stroke and Turn Judges and the Starter.)

4. Concessions. Like to serve food?

There are several non-meet positions still open. Please consider signing up for:

1. Volunteer Coordinator-in-Training. Come shadow me, and I'll get you ready for next season! 

2. Coaches Gift Collector. 

3. Event Planners for Cary City Meet and Swim Team events 

4. Ribbons, Medals and Awards Buyer
