Happy Sunday!   Can you believe we only have 3 meets left this season ? Summer certainly is flying.

I know it's too hot to think but we need to get a few things in order for our meet on Tuesday.

1. We still have 13 undeclared swimmers and we soooo sooo sooo need swimmers on Tuesday.  If you haven't declared - please do so today.

2.  We still need volunteers to run the meet.   If you can please sign up today.  The meet will go faster if you are busy :)

3. Carpenter Village Pool is located at 707 Carpenter Town Lane, Cary, 27519.   Carpenter Village pool on Google map : https://goo.gl/maps/KGvMDJFXHPkQPcDbA

4. Parking is available at the pool as well as on the street, although limited. There is a retail area catty corner to the pool that has sufficient parking.

5.  Warm-ups  Carpenter Village will warm up from 5:00-5:25pm and Kildaire Farms will warm up from 5:30-5:55pm. 

6.  The meet will begin promptly at 6:00pm. 

 7.  If you are running late -  please please text me and Jeremy so we know you are on your way.  Include your Name and ETA.

8.  Kildaire Farms  has been assigned the deck space on the East side of the pool, which is to the right as you enter.  I am trying to find out if we can set up canopies- stay tuned.

9.  Concessions - They will have Chick Fil A (nuggets and sandwiches), Jimmy John’s, and pizza.  plenty of drink options (water, soda, sports drinks), chips, all the treats (sugar) beloved by swimmers, and Italian ice. Cash or Venmo accepted. 

**** please be careful letting the kids eat too much junk.  It's going to be hot and we don't want upset tummies ***

10.  Carpenter Village  has asked that the swimmers please DO NOT write on their backs with Sharpies/permanent markers. (When wet, this stains the pool chairs they use to line up the swimmers). 

11.  Volunteer Meeting: They will hold the volunteer meeting promptly at 5:45pm.

12.  Timing System:  TimeDrops is the timing system and are planning to use 2 timers per lane (1 timer from each team).   They will announce the code before the meet starts so you can follow your swimmers times.

13.  Carpenter Village  pool has 6-lanes and we have official starting blocks. 

14.  Carpenter Village DOES NOT have lights, so we must finish by 8:50pm. 

15.  The starter will move quickly and swimmers MUST STAY with their kid pusher.  They WILL NOT hold the event for kids who are not paying attention.  

16. We will use dive-overs for ages 11 and up. 

17.   Coaches and parents relay. Carpenter Village  invites our coaches and any parents who are interested to join in on the fun! This will take place after we complete the breaststroke.    Brind you swimsuit and let me know on Tuesday when you arrive if you want to be a part of the relay.
