Pizza Party and Shaving Cream Fight

Families always ask -   "What can I do to Help ?"

Today - there is an easy way everyone on the team can help.

Please go to the website   www.kfswimteam.com  and  RSVP  (YES I am coming or NO I am not)   for the Pizza Party & Shaving Cream fight which is TOMORROW Night.

Think about  this  ...... how much pizza do I order,  how much shaving cream do I buy,  How many cookies and drinks do I need ?   How many cups / plates / napkins and how many parents do I need to help......

Right now I have 60 swimmers - what if that number turns out to be 90 ??   That means we are really short on all of the above and the party isn't very fun and everyone is cranky.

While you are at www.kfswimteam.com ....  How about Declaring your swimmers for the next  WEDNESDAY meet at Brighton Forest  so Jeremy / the coaches and me  aren't going crazy over the holiday weekend trying to find swimmers for events.   It takes a LOT of work to put these events together each week.

and Lastly.... while you are there - we still have several VOLUNTEER POSITIONS open for the meet.

Many hands make the load lighter   -  please take 5 minutes and help us know whether you and your swimmers are participating or not.

Also -   Several people have asked me about ribbons -  Ribbons ( 1st - 6th place ribbons)  are in the family folders in the file boxes in the guard office at the pool.  They are typically not filed until a few days after the meet  because we have to get them from the other team so I will get the boxes out tomorrow night for pick ups.

If your swimmers don't want the ribbons - please don't throw them away -  these are printed with our logo and they are pricey -  if you dont' want them just put them in the recycle folder in the box and they won't go to waste.

The little whales love love love their ribbons but sometimes the older ones out grow them so  One mom always suggests you take a pic of your swimmer with their ribbons from each meet and then recycle.   Just an idea.

Thanks - tammie
