It takes a village to run a swim meet.   The more hands the lighter the load.   You know all the sayings right ?  

As most of you know we HAVE to have Volunteers to run our swim meets.  ( We will actually need less this year due to TSA rule changes but we still need volunteers )  We ask for all of our  parents to help in some way.  Don't panic if you have little kids as there are plenty of non-meet things you can do to help.    If you are unsure - just talk to Lyra - Nikki - Jeremy or Tammie and we will help you figure out a place.

BUT - WE NEED TWO STARTERS &  a handful of STROKE N TURN Judges.   If you don't know what this is - it is not the job for you  just yet - smile.

Stroke n Turn Judges have a couple of options:

Stroke and Turn Volunteers are required to recertify each year. Free clinics, USA Swimming Credentials OR taking an online training for a fee  ( see more info below)

Stroke and Turn: 8:00am to 9:30am Kevin Chignell to present  and at this clinic you will be able to see actual swimmers in the water.

All TSA clubs are required to have at least one certified stroke and turn judge. There are still three ways to go about satisfying this requirement. 

1. Attend a *FREE* TSA stroke and turn clinic. Schedule above.

2. Email proof of USA Swimming or NCHSAA stroke and turn official certification to secretary.tsanc.org@gmail.com Be sure to include your club and individual’s name in the subject field to Jenny for record keeping  and copy Tammie Smoot - tsmoot@thebx.com  

. 3. Enroll in and complete the $26.99 Stroke and Turn course on https://strokeandturn.com (paid for by individual volunteer) Upon completion, send a copy of the certificate to Jenny Smith including your club name in the subject field and copy Tammie Smoot  tsmoot@thebdx.com
