It's Swim Team Time  and we have lots of  new things to share for 2023.    It's a lot so grab an iced tea and sit down  :)

1. Registration is OPEN -    www.kfswimteam.com         Please register today - we have lots of prep work before the season starts and we need you  to register early so we have a head count of swimmers / have equipment / the coaches are ready  and the list goes on.

2. NEW THIS YEAR - multi-swimmer family discount 

3.  NEW THIS YEAR  -  Junior Prep - this is perfect for our swimmers who are just getting started and need more individualized attention.   Read more about it on the website and you can meet our Head Instructor - Devon Barker who has lots of experience and is excited to be a part of our pool family.

3. Meet our Coaches -  Head Coach Isabella Wolff,  Assistant Coach Owen Ragsdale, Assistant Coach Julia Dott, Assistant Coach Kate Ragsdale - check out their bio's  on www.kfswimteam.com  

4. New This Year  -  Junior  Coaches -   will assist with the Junior Prep Program and our younger age groups during practice.  Interested in being a Junior Coach - reach out to Devon for an application and more details.

5. POOL OPENS -  Saturday May 20th - Swim Team parent orientation from 12 :00 - 1:00 pm.   If you can't come on Saturday - don't worry - Super Volunteer Coordinator - Lyra is creating a video option.  ( If you aren't sure if your swimmers would benefit from Jr Prep or should jump right into their age group this is a great time to talk to our team and we can help you decide.

8.  Volunteers Needed  -   We will have a big team this year and we will need many hands.  So please watch for the volunteer calendar to go and sign up as needed.    

 We are currently looking for an assistant volunteer coordinator - please reach out to Lyra for details

We are currently looking for an assistant meet coordinator - must be very operations oriented and software savvy -  please reach out to Jeremy for more info

We will be looking for Stroke n Turn Judges ( must attend the training class ) and some folks who would like to get Starter trained)  Reach out to Tammie / Lyra or Jeremy if interested

Movie Night Coordinator -  We need someone to coordinate and manage Dive in Theatre - Reach out to Tammie or Lyra if interested.

If you have little kids that require your attention at the meets don't worry - we have lots of ways you can help other than during the meet - Talk to Lyra / Nikki / Tammie    

9.  Team Tee shirts and Team Merch -  Christine has graciously offered  to take on the task again this year -  let's make her job easier by registering EARLY.

10. Swim Suits -   Watch for more info as we get closer.

11.   Team Spirit Captain -Heather Hall has volunteered to be our Team Spirit Coordinator this year so please watch for more details on how you can show your spirit.

12.  Banner Sponsors :  Own a small business or work with a company that would love to have their name on one of our pool banners  +  recognition at our swim meets +  your logo on our website +  + + ?    Dr. Mike Finn is leading our Banner Sales and would love to hear from you !

13.  Pool Staff -   Todd Ruthven is returning as pool manager this year and he has a great group of returning and new lifeguards  ready to keep us safe.
