Parents & Swimmers,

We will be having a swim meet tonight. Given the size of the meet (good news this is the largest team we swim against this season) and the excessive heat warning we have made the decision to limit breaststroke and butterfly to a maximum of 3 heats per event. What that means is some swimmers will only be swimming two events. While we always strive to have all swimmers swim all events, the unprecedented heat tonight and the length of the meet brought us to this decision.

For tonight, we want to make sure that everyone takes all proper precautions with the heat by drinking penalty of fluids, cooling off in the bathroom showers, and letting a coach or official know if you or your child begin to not feel well. As much as we want to be competitive tonight and win, you and your child's health and wellbeing are more important to all of us. Heat Sheets are attached.
